Armenia to participate in mission in Afghanistan
Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will pay a visit to Slovakia to participate in International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) meeting between defense ministers.
Press office of Armenian Defense Ministry reports that Seyran Ohanyan acts as head of delegation from the country providing ISAF contingent to Afghanistan.
The meeting will by attended by Afghanistan’s Defense Minister, special representative of UN Secretary General in Afghanistan, and High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union.
Within the working visit Seyran Ohanyan will also have a meeting with NATO Secretary-General and defense ministers of several countries.
