Armenia prepares for Media Forum of CIS and Baltic states
Media Forum of CIS and Baltic states will be launched on December in Moscow, announced Director of Information and PR Center of Armenian President’s Administration, Ara Saghatelyan, who among representatives of CIS and Baltic states participated in preparations.
“The chief goal of the Forum is to reestablish links between CIS states and to form a unified space. Besides, Forum will focus on key issues, in particular, those of reducing of printed editions and confidence in media,” said Ara Saghatelyan.
“This is the first widened meeting involving 10 delegates from each state,” he added noting that journalists can benefit from this process of integration and formation of a single information space.
Ara Saghatelyan expressed confidence that a unified informational space will provide new opportunities for cooperation, citing MIR TV and Radio Company. He also pointed that unresolved issue of Karabakh wouldn’t hopple Armenian and Azerbaijani journalists to establish common communications.
