The day of Constitution in Abkhazia

Today in Abkhazia they celebrate the Day of Constitution. The main law of the Republic was accepted by the Abkhazian Republic and got its appreciation from the national referendum 15 years ago in 1994 on November 24. By the Constitution Abkhazia became independent, democratic, legal state.

On the occasion of the Main Law’s 15th anniversary in Sukhumi will take place the special sitting of the parliament.

“After the sitting the members of the parliament will go to the park situated in front of the Sukhumi’s administration board and on the occasion they will put 15 trees”, - the press office of the National Assembly informed to the source.

The Constitution day of Abkhazia is a holiday.
