'Congress of Republican Party prevented collapse of coalition'
The Congress of the Republican Party of Armenia has prevented the collapse of government coalition, said at the press conference leader of the Heritage Party Stepan Safaryan.
He said there were some risks of collapse of coalition before as the Prosperous Armenia Party was blaming prime minister with deepening the effects of the global crisis. There also appeared the controversy about Armenian-Turkish relations while all statements about supporting and so on were dishonest besides, according to the politician.
After the Congress, the Prosperous Armenia Party cannot claim for any status in governmental team, as the Republican Party has brought to the world its more clear position and views on some internal and external issues.
“I don’t think any serious development in coalition can happen, as long as neither out of the common situation appears,” he added.
