Ringo Starr gets star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr received the 2,041st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Starr was accompanied to the ceremony by his 30-year-old wife, actress Barbara Bach.
"You know "The Beatles" in my mind are one of the best bands in the world. And you know, I'm an only child and I joined this band and I have three brothers and they looked out for me and I looked out for them and we all supported each other and it was really beautiful to be part of that. And besides that, we made some great records,” he said.
Starr, who is Richard Starkey by birth, is celebrating the release of his 16th studio album, "Y Not", which came out last month.
