Lys Assia to be present at Eva Rivas’s performance
Today, in the framework of preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, Armenian singer Eva Rivas will perform her song “Apricot Stone”.
It’s worth mentioning, that the “Apricot Stone” has already passed the previous round of contest between candidates for Eurovision 2010. “Apricot Stone” is a song by the Honored Person of Armenia’s Culture, composer Armen Martirosian. It is orchestrated by Ara Torosian. The song’s lyrics are written by poet and songwriter Karen Kavalerian.
A spokesperson for Eva Rivas’s producer-center told Aysor’s correspondent that the today’s show will guest Lys Assia, winner of the very first Eurovision Song Contest of 1956, in which she sang for Switzerland.
It’s worth mentioning that after the February 14 show it will be announced who will get a ticket for Eurovision 2010. Armenia’s contestant will perform at the Eurovision 2010 second semi-final on May 27.
