S. Safaryan: “April 24 is not a deadline”
“The protocols on the regulation of the Armenian – Turkish relations will be ratified this year but not until 24th of April”, - Stepan Safaryan the head of the “Heritage” party said.
The deputy thinks that Turkey is trying to get more by blackmailing and creating deadlock situations.
“Turkey has got enough resources for overcoming the deadline and it is for that reason that the Turkish side is making those impasses”, - S. Safaryan said and added that the statements of the foreign minister Davutoghlu are a hint to Washington for the Congress not to accept the resolution of the Armenian Genocide.
According to the speaker if Turkey doesn’t ratify the Protocols then it will become a problem for Armenia and the Armenian side will have to recede and even to take back its signature.
“April 24 is not a deadline”, - stressed S. Safaryan and added that Turkish side will ratify the Armenian – Turkish Protocols in any way.
