Ukraine: Yulia Tymoshenko Ousted
Ukraine's Parliament passed Wednesday a motion of no-confidence in Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's government. Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said the no-confidence resolution passed with 243 votes in the 450-seat chamber.
Tymoshenko, who has been Ukrainian prime minister twice since 2005, has to resign now, while the newly-elected Viktor Yanukovych will try to assemble a new coalition in parliament.
It’s worth mentioning that Yulia Tymoshenko's coalition has officially collapsed as it couldn’t prove it had a majority.
