In Azerbaijan live 3 million less people, says Agazade
Milli Mejlis deputy, chairman of the Umid Party of Azerbaijan Igbal Agazade said doesn’t believe Azerbaijan’s official statistics data. When asked by Zerkalo paper’s correspondent about number of living in Azerbaijan people, he said that according to statements by officials, their number reaches 9 million.
“But this is not true,” he pointed adding that some three million Azerbaijanis live abroad. “This is a figure of a real, not official statistics,” he said.
It’s enough to consider number of Azerbaijanis, living out of Azerbaijan, to understand that figure of 9 million is false information, spread by Azerbaijan’s officials.
Aysor paper has already appealed to the issue of demographic situation in the neighboring country. Here is a Russian version of an article: link.
