Krakow City Council declares Lukashenko persona non grata
Poland’s Krakow City Council, by the majority of the council members, passed on March 3 a resolution, declaring Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko persona non grata.
By resolution’s rule Alexander Lukashenko will remain persona non grata in Krakow until the violation of democratic and European standards in Belarus does not end.
The Polish PAP news agency reports that the members of the council also appealed to the European Parliament asking to take all possible efficient measures to defend the rights of the Polish ethnic minority in Belarus.
