US supports Georgia's territorial integrity, says Biden

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said in a telephone conversation with Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili that “U.S. supports Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity”.

“Joe Biden encouraged the Georgia's democratic reform process and the desire for an open, transparent and free process in its upcoming elections,” the White House said in a statement.

In addition, Joe Biden also appreciated Georgia's support for the U.S. war efforts in Afghanistan.
