Fire in the international airport of Istanbul
A big fire broke out at a power generation unit at Istanbul's main Ataturk Airport at around 22:00 local time, Reuters reports.
Firefighters were called to the airport to control the blaze. The cause of the fire was not known and no other details were immediately available, the source informs.
There were no injuries and air travel was not affected, Soluk said.
The unit, which produces part of the airport's energy, was located some 200 meters (yards) from the terminals and posed no danger to passengers, the source reports.
