Turkey: guards shot a man at Ukrainian Consulate
Security guards at the Ukrainian consulate in Turkey’s Istanbul has shot a man who claimed to be armed and carrying a bomb, media outlets report, citing the Turkish State television.
A 29-year-old Turk, who tried to enter the building, was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to sayings by Istanbul Gov. Muammer Guler.
Police have launched an investigation, he added.
