A British artist brought to a Court for a cartoon of Erdogan
The Turkish Court has sentenced a British artist Michael Dickinson to 425 days in prison for a caricature, superimposing the head of Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan on the body of a dog.
A Turkish judge found Michael Dickinson guilty of insulting Prime Minister Erdogan's "dignity and honour".
However, the sentence was commuted to a fine, which, in its turn, should be paid only if Michael Dickinson makes new cartoons of Erdogan over the next five years.
