World champion N. Avdalyan won’t partake in European Championship

As we have already informed on April 2-11 in the capital city of Byelorussia, in Minsk will take place the European weightlifting championship of the men and women. Our journalist was told that 9 sportsmen will represent Armenia; Smbat Margaryan, Arakel Mirzoyan, Tigran Martirosyan, Gevorg Poghosyan, Edgar Gevorgyan, Arthur Babayan and Ruben Aleksanyan.

In the women’s competition will partake only Meline Daluzyan and Hripsime Khurshudyan. The world champion Nazik Avdalyan, according to our information, has injured her hand, and thus is not included in the delegation leaving for Minsk.
