Alice in Wonderland tops box office second week-end

3D-powered Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” once again came up a box office winner, gathering 62 million dollars in ticket sales.

“Alice in Wonderland”, which stars Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, has brought $62 million in ticket sales for Walt Disney Co, making a total of $208.6 million in the first two weeks of its screening.

Coming in at the second place was Paul Greengrass’s “The Green Zone”, which stars Matt Damon and sets war in Iraq, opened with $14.5 million in ticket sales.

She's Out of My League opened in the third place with $9.6 million in ticket sales, followed by Robert Pattinson-starrer Remember Me ($8.28 million) and Shutter Island ($8.14 million).
