Edward Nalbandian to meet with OSCE MG Co-Chairs in Paris
Finishing a working visit to Germany, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is paying a visit to France, a spokesperson for Foreign Ministry of Armenia said.
In Paris Foreign Minister Nalbandian is reported to meet on Tuesday with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to discuss process of settlement to the Karabakh conflict.
Within the framework of the visit to Germany Nalbandian met with Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel, Vice-Chancellor Guido Westerwelle, and Chancellor’s chief foreign policy adviser Christoph Heusgen.
“Armenia attaches great importance to strengthening of relations and cooperation with Germany,” said Armenian Foreign Minister, adding that Germany is one of the largest investors in Armenia and is a state which contributes to Armenia’s development programs.
Parties discussed a wide range of regional and international issues, the EU Eastern Partnership Plan, visa-regime, Armenia-EU relations as well as items of Armenia-Germany cooperation in sphere of culture and education; in particular, officials talked about joint programs and opening of the Goethe Institute in Yerevan.
