Mikheil Saakashvili criticizes fake report by Imedi channel

Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili has criticized the fake reportage, played out on Georgian television about Russian invasion of the country and killing of country’s President.

He said Monday that the ‘report’ by Imedi channel, which caused widespread panic in the country, was very harmful to society. It’s worth mentioning, that Mikheil Saakashvili before branded the ‘report’ as ‘unpleasant, but quite realistic.’

Imedi channel’s fake report was criticized and condemned by U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Russian Foreign Ministry, and Imedi channel founder Badri Patarkatsishvili’s family.
