Valentina Tolkunova dies at 63

Russian People’s Artist and famous singer Valentina Tolkunova died at 63 at the Botkin Hospital in Moscow. Doctors said she had had a form of cancer.

Tolkunova was hospitalized after a concert in Belarusian Mogilev on February 16 and after a long illness, she died. Valentina Tolkunova was awarded with numerous orders and titles by governments and cultural centers of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Estonia, etc.
