Turkey calls to Boycott McDonald's
Alienation in US-Turkey relations may cause great financial losses for large American companies, acting in Turkey. Calls to boycott popular fast food chain, McDonalds, have been already voiced, Vesti.Az agency reported, citing Turkish media
In particular, Haber Vitrini paper called for a boycott of McDonald's, saying the fast-food is bad for a health.
Number of MDs in Turkey increased to 134; total of 76 million people ate in MD’s in 2009, gathering 173,5 million dollars.
US-Turkey relations were alienated after Committee on Foreign Affairs of the United States House of Representatives approved Resolution 252, branding mass killings and massacres against Armenians in Turkey in 1915 as Genocide.
