Sociologist’s opinion: who wins seats at Armenia’s Parliament?
The Republicans, ARFD, Party of Prosperous Armenia, Orinants Erkir, and Heritage can win seats at the Parliament when next elections start, shared his view Director of Sociometer Center, Agaron Adibekian.
He said that National Unity Party and the Union of National Self-Determination remained in a shadow. “Those forces that have own media, can influence the electorate,” said sociologist, referring to the People’s Party and the Union of Constitutional Law.
The Republicans and Party of Prosperous Armenia will mainly campaign for 60% of votes; ARFD, Heritage, the Armenian National Congress will fight for other 40% of votes. “Other political forces should decide whom they will support,” said Adibekian.
“Orinants Erkir, Heritage and other forces must seriously work to win seats at the Parliament. Heritage’s chances are low, especially after recent developments,” said Adibekian.
