Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine main trade partners of Georgia
Viewing the foreign commodity circulation results in the first six months of 2010, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine are reported to be the main trade partners of Georgia.
In the period under review, commodity circulation with Turkey totaled 16.7 percent Georgia’s foreign commodity circulation, which is 0.34 percent less than the analogous index of 2009, RBK.ru reported citing the National Statistical Service of Georgia.
Foreign commodity circulation with Azerbaijan totaled 10.5 percent, which is 28.9 percent more than the analogous index of 2009.
The commodity circulation index with Ukraine was 9.7 percent recording a 25 percent increase as compared to the analogous period of the previous year.
The United States (6.5 percent), Russia (5 percent), Germany (3.2 percent), Armenia (3.2 percent), UAE (2.8 percent), and Bulgaria (2.7 percent) are also listed among the main trade partners of Georgia.
