Obama orders to direct $9,5 million to Kyrgyz refugees
U.S. President Obama’s administration will direct $9,5 million in aid to Kyrgyz refugees, RIA Novosti reported citing a statement released on Friday by the White House spokesperson.
Obama ordered to furnish assistance “in an amount not to exceed $9,5 million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs” that come from the recent violence that hit Kyrgyzstan and “contributions to international, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations.”
