Azerbaijani banking system’s net income declines by 2,24 times
Azerbaijan’s Central Bank said that for 7 months of 2010, country’s banking system lost in net incomes a sum, equal to a fall by 2,24 times in comparison with the same period of the last year, local ABC information agency reported.
The Central Bank said in the statement that by August 1, incomes before taxing reached 81,19 million manats against 281,09 million of manats of January 1, 2010. And herewith, incomes before taxing by August 1 of 2009 were 182,12 million manats.
For the reported period, 30 banks of Azerbaijan had a 94,84 million manat net income, while 17 others suffered losses at 22,15 million manats.
For August 1, the financial markets of Azerbaijan showed 0,8036 manat against $1 USD.
