Wheat harvest unprecedentedly poor – Minister
Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan addressed wheat market problems in Armenia at a press conference today mentioning that this year, due to bad weather conditions, we expect 120-130 tons wheat harvest.
“Armenia’s wheat harvest is unprecedentedly poor this year,” Minister stressed.
Armenian wheat importing companies have already imported wheat from Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, America, according to the Minister.
Speaking about wheat prices Alaverdyan stressed that no considerable rise in prices for wheat is expected in Armenia.
