FMs of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey at border crossings
A trilateral meeting between foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey is scheduled to be held at the border crossings of the three countries, told media Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
“In the near months we are going to meet at the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Iran border. We are working over this,” Georgian News agency quoted him as saying, citing Turkish Zaman paper.
The meeting’s goal is to strengthen the trilateral cooperation between the tree countries, according to Turkish Foreign Minister.
“Here, at the place where borders of the three counties are crossing, there are checkpoints between Azerbaijan and Turkey; we are also negotiating to open the checkpoint with Iran,” added Davutoglu.
