NKR serious factor in region, says Armenian President

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, a spokesperson to the State Administration said.

“The independence of Artsakh is one of the brightest pages of the newest Armenian history and is the greatest achievement of our nation. We are aware of independence’s worth which was reached by price of thousands of lives of the Armenian sons. Eternal glory to their memory,” said in president’s message.

“Brought into being by struggle of the whole Armenian people, the political freedom is a reality now. Moreover, Nagorno Karabakh and its firm statehood and Armed Combat Forces are a serious factor in the region.

“Home stability of Artsakh, unanimous and firm position of the Artsakh Armenians, and comprehensive development of the county make every realistic person be sure of its free and prosperous future. We are moving forward in triune between Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora, and we are committed to our historical choice,” said President Sargsyan.
