Is Aliyev going to recognize NKR?
The flag placed with sultan arrogance on September 1 in Baku stood Azerbaijani winds (in this case – in the proper sense of the word) for two days only. According to reports of some leading media, the 350 kg flag with an area of 2450 square meters just fell down from 160 meters height. Moreover, online videos feature that before the “glorious fall” the flag had been already torn.
It is noteworthy that sultan Alieyev Jr. had promised to place that flag in Stepanakert. It is purely one side of the issue that the Turkish expert described this and similar statements as a bluff. However, we wonder how the “sultan” is going to place the flag in the neighboring country, as he was not able to keep it standing in his own country. Especially as he does not have diplomatic relations with that state. However, we guess: in all probability, Aliyev has decided to recognize NKR, then to pay a state visit to that country to ask NKR leaders for reconciliation. And just at that time they will have to place the Azerbaijani flag beside the NKR flag, according to the protocol. Just for an hour or two. And to keep it standing long he should think of opening an Embassy in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
