Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry at a loss
Amid the serial attempts of country’s military commanders to violate the case-fire regime and attack Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry immediately became a closed for comments body to Azerbaijani media.
Local media under the informational vacuum and absence of agitational and propaganda instructions from “above” since early Saturday morning have been quoting Armenian news agencies in attempt to cover the recent failed attack of Azerbaijani diversionists on Nagorno Karabakh.
Early on September 4, an armed group of Azerbaijani diversionists crossed the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh and attempted an invasion. In result, one Azerbaijani attacker was killed, four others were wounded.
Azerbaijani media mostly report that “they failed yet to get in touch with country’s Defense Ministry to receive details on what had happened.”
It’s likely the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is trying to digest the big failure of own armed forces before injecting the serial statements on how heroic fighters are Azerbaijani soldiers and on killed shahids.
We can recommend the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan make use of the official statements of Defense Ministries of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh and quote them in their comments for media.
