G. Melikyan: Azerbaijan’s behavior is typical of terrorists
“Azerbaijan's taking prisoner and killing the Armenian citizen once again testified that this country does not care for international organizations and norms of international law. Trying to conceal traces of violence against the Armenian shepherd, Manvel Saribekyan, Azerbaijan did not allow ICRC to meet with him. Thus Azerbaijan grossly violated the provisions of the International Convention on Prisoners of War,” member of Armenian parliament and RPA faction Gagik Melikyan told aysor.am.
In response to aysor.am correspondent’s observation that Armenian Foreign Minister describes Azerbaijan’s behavior as terrorism Melikyan said: “I unequivocally agree with Foreign Minister’s opinion, it is obvious that Azerbaijan’s bold and unreasonable steps are typical of terrorists.”
According to the parliamentarian, the international community should condemn “Azerbaijan’s mean actions” and undertake measures to eradicate such incidents.
