Model European Union 2011 held in Yerevan
The European Union Delegation to Armenia and AEGEE-Yerevan NGO (European Students' Forum) are holding a forum today, titled Model European Union 2011.
It’s a youth interactive project with political modeling. During the forum the participants have taken the roles of presidents, PMs, as well as other officials of EU member countries.
The Forum hosts around 35 students from Armenian regions who have studied the European Union legislation with the help of experts.
The forum aims to boost civil activities and to raise youth awareness of EU in Armenia.
“One of the key achievements of the project implemented with UNDP/GEF support is the inclusion and support of extra-curricular environmental education as a strategic approach. This was a direct result of the series of roundtables jointly organized with EEN members and policymakers,” adds Sahakyan.
