B. Sahakyan discusses water supply improvement issues
On 16 January President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked a consultation dedicated to water supply improvement activities in Stepanakert.
The President underlined that water system and its improvement is among the pivotal directions of the republic’s socioeconomic development and within this context water supply improvement of Stepanakert is of special importance. The Head of the State noted that great work had been done for securing twenty-four-hour water supply in the capital.
At the same time Bako Sahakyan noted that in the process of carried out activities directed to improve Stepanakert’s water supply network a number of defects and omissions have been revealed.
President Sahakyan emphasized that such a working style and attitude is absolutely unacceptable and even pose a threat for uninterruptible and efficient activity of the water supply system.
The President assigned to the Cabinet of Ministers and corresponding structures to eliminate all the existing defects as soon as possible increasing control and widely covering the carried out activities by the mass media.
Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials partook at the consultation, the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President reports.
