Cameron to make official visit to US on March

British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha, will visit President Obama and the First Lady next month, the White House announced Friday.

The couple will attend a state dinner at the White House during the official visit on March 13 to 14, the New York Post reports.

U.S. President Barack Obama and the British leader will discuss the war in Afghanistan and increasing concerns in connection with Iran's nuclear program. Also on the agenda are May's NATO and Group of Eight summits in Chicago, the Voice of America reports.

"They will also review progress in the implementation of the various initiatives launched during the president's state visit to the UK last year," said the spokesman, the BBC reports.
