Roses from Yerevan Mayor’s office

The feast of St. Sarkis the Captain, Patron of Love and Youth falls on February 4 this year. It is 63 days before the Easter, on Saturday. It is established by the Armenian Apostolic church as the youth blessing day.

As a symbol of love the Yerevan Municipality has placed a heart at the Swan Lake in Yerevan. The ice-made heart which is of 2 meters height there are 1000 roses. All the couples have received roses from the Yerevan municipality today.

In connection with the feast Holy Liturgy is being served in all the churches of the country, the Information and Public Relations department of Yerevan Municipality informs.
