20th anniversary of RA Armed Forces celebrated in Canada

On February 4 in the Armenian embassy to Canada reception was held dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the RA Armed Forces, the RA Foreign Ministry reports.

At the event top officials of the Foreign Ministry of Canada were present, as well as ambassadors, diplomats accredited in Ottawa, priests of Armenian Apostolic Church, representatives of Armenian community.

After the anthems of Armenia and Canada the Armenian ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan made a greeting speech and shortly presented the history of formation of the Armenian Armed Forces.

The event was accompanied with concert during which songs of Armenian and foreign singers were presented.
