Roads are mainly passable in RA territory

As of February 8, 09.00am the highways, republican roads and mount passes are mainly passable, the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations informs. In spots black-ice and bad visibility is possible.

The Selim pass, Berd-Chambarak, Verin Getashen-Madina highways are closed because of the snowstorm and bad visibility. The 7th km of Vanadzor-Stepanavan road is closed too.

Gyumri-Yerevan, Spitak-Yerevan, Sevan-Chambarak, Alagyaz-Tsaghkahovit, Norashen-Tsaghkahovit, Aparan-Kuchak highways are hardly passable.

Road cleaning and snow removal work is being implemented.

Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all kinds of vehicles as of 13:30.
