More than 20 countries recognize Armenian Genocide
“The Armenian Genocide is a fact, the German sources have always been open for studies and many investigations have been carried out, the historians work in those archives till now,” said expert in Turkologist Karen Sirunyan today.
According to the speaker all the countries in the world know about the Armenian Genocide since it occurred and more than 20 countries have recognized it.
“The German Government itself has recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2005 and it has come to that decision considering the facts found in its archives,” Sirunyan noticed.
Turkologist mentioned that Turkish two oppositional parties are going to bring lawsuit against all the countries that have recognized the Armenian Genocide.
The speaker noticed that that step will be not be fruitful for Turkey, and the countries that have already accepted the fact of Armenian Genocide do not need to discuss it again.
