Paper: OYP cedes seats to RPA
According to Yerkir, the 175000-member Orinats Yerkir Party has ceded its seats at around 400 polling station commissions to RPA.
“OYP used a very interesting mechanism for assisting its elder brother: OYP members just failed the “hard” exam and did not qualify as commission members, therefore commission chairmen selected Republicans - “excellent students”- in place of OYP members – “bad students,” says the paper.
According to the head of commission, the author of photo hasn’t taken into account that the stamp is put only one side of the envelope, so it is impossible to cast the ballot in such position, that all the stamps can be visible.
The main Kurdish militia in Rojava is the Democratic Union Party (PYD), an offshoot of the Turkish-Kurdish rebel movement known as the PKK. According to news reports, the PKK has sent several hundred fighters from Turkey to Syria to help the PYD against the jihadists.
