Armenian Ambassador handed his credentials to Latvia’s President

On June 19 Armenian Ambassador to Latvia Ara Ayvazian handed in credentials to Latvia’s President Andris Berzins, RA MFA press service reports.

At the private talk after ceremony of handing the credentials the two have discussed issues concerning the reinforcement of political dialogue and perspectives of development of the bilateral relations, the source said.

Stressing the importance of progress in Armenia-EU relations, Latvia’s President voiced his country’s commitment to further extend necessary assistance. At request of Latvia’s leader, Ambassador Ayvazian introduced the recent developments over the NK conflict settlement process.

The Armenian ambassador met also the deputy speaker of the Parliament of Latvia as well as the Education and science minister Robert Kilis.
