18 killed on Iran Pakistan border
Mohammad Aslam Tarin, a senior government official, said the motorcycle-riding gunmen stopped the vehicles and forced them to come out with their hands up before killing 18 and wounding two.
The incident took place in the far-flung Kechh district, some 780 miles southwest of Quetta, the main town of Pakistan's insurgency hit Baluchistan province, close to the Iranian border.
Gunmen managed to flee the scene, the Telegraph reports.
“One of the key achievements of the project implemented with UNDP/GEF support is the inclusion and support of extra-curricular environmental education as a strategic approach. This was a direct result of the series of roundtables jointly organized with EEN members and policymakers,” adds Sahakyan.
