Vahram Sahakyan joked, “Didn’t I have the right?”
“I tore my passport and threw it on the NA because I do not consider myself an RA citizen, though I respect our government. They ask me all the time what happened that day. Nothing like that happened. I could make a joke, right? The bigger the lie the more people believe in it. I asked my girlfriend to put ketchup on my face and then fall on the floor and she took me on camera. The police came and made a report which proved that I was joking. I had no intention to attract attention; this was just a joke,” said writer Vahram Sahakyan, touching upon the information spread in the internet as if he was beaten.
According to him the fact that some people tried to bribe him for several times is more important. However, he, Vardan Petrosyan and Hrant Tokhatyan never take bribe, he says. He also added that he is in extremely poor condition but is not under anyone’s patronage.
Days ago Karen Antinyan had written in internet, “Vahram Sahakyan has confirmed the news that he was beaten and the guilty has escaped. Vahram is at home by now and is in a bad condition.”
“One of the key achievements of the project implemented with UNDP/GEF support is the inclusion and support of extra-curricular environmental education as a strategic approach. This was a direct result of the series of roundtables jointly organized with EEN members and policymakers,” adds Sahakyan.
