Valentina Matvienko to arrive in Armenia on official visit

On July 11 Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia, will arrive in Armenia on an official visit.

As the parliament press service reports, Matvienko will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians during her visit.

As part of their official visit to Armenia, delegates of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia will visit Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial and will lay a wreath at the Memorial to Armenian Genocide victims.
