Bako Sahakyan received Pargev Martirosyan
On 21 July Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan.
Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan congratulated Bako Sahakyan on being reelected President of the Artsakh Republic. The Artsakh religious leader wished success to the Head of the State in the process of implementing the planned projects, raising people's welfare, developing the homeland.
Issues related to state-church ties were discussed during the meeting. Both sides noted the need of further deepening and expanding them, considering it to be one of the most important bases of state building.
According to the head of commission, the author of photo hasn’t taken into account that the stamp is put only one side of the envelope, so it is impossible to cast the ballot in such position, that all the stamps can be visible.
The main Kurdish militia in Rojava is the Democratic Union Party (PYD), an offshoot of the Turkish-Kurdish rebel movement known as the PKK. According to news reports, the PKK has sent several hundred fighters from Turkey to Syria to help the PYD against the jihadists.
