Wife of former Talin mayor dismissed from work
Tamara Gevorgyan, the wife of former Talin mayor, Republican Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, was fired from her position as head of Talin hospital Friday, Hraparak reports.
The paper writes that she was fired several years ago for abuse of official position but was restored to her position later. Yesterday, she was naturally fired for political reasons, because the governor and Mnatsakanyan have disagreements over Talin mayoral election - they back different candidates.
“One of the key achievements of the project implemented with UNDP/GEF support is the inclusion and support of extra-curricular environmental education as a strategic approach. This was a direct result of the series of roundtables jointly organized with EEN members and policymakers,” adds Sahakyan.
