Armenian chess players at Maringa
Armenian GM Krikor-Sevag Mekhitarian scored 7,5 points out of 9 and shared 2-4 places at the open that was held in Maringa, Brazil. By the tie-break Mekhitarian took the 3rd place.
Armenian CM Armen Proudian took the 11th place with 6,5 points.
Winner of the tournament was GM Jose Fernando Cubas (Paraguay) with 8,5 points, the armchess.am reports.
251 chess players took part in the tournament.
