Hungarian scientist of Armenian studies joins protest

Zigmund Benedect who is a famous Hungarian scientist of Armenian studies joins protest held in front of the RA NFA by many NGOs. He mentioned that the Hungarians are ashamed of the step undertaken by their government and criticize the policy of their state.

The protest is against the extradition of the Azerbaijani murderer Rafil Safarov by the Hungarian authorities.

The scientist of Armenian studies assured that this step will be followed by political consequences in Hungary. “Hungarian people as well condemns the extradition of Safarov and the Hungarians consider the Armenians as friendly people with whom they have lived together side by side.”
