Actor Yervand Yengibarian dies in car crash

Famous Armenian actor Yervand Yengibarian died in a car accident in Yerevan. He was 30. Mercedes that Yengibarian was driving left the road, hit a pole and overturned, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said. Yengibarian died on the spot.

The car’s passenger, 34-year-old Russian citizen Mariam Sargsyan was hospitalized, according to Shamshyan.com. She is in grave condition.

Y. Yengibarian was an actor of Yerevan Theatre after Stanislavsky. He has appeared in films and television series. Most recently, he played a role in ‘Knight’s Move’ Armenian-Kazakh film.

Yesterday the actor marked his birthday.
