MFA: Armenia implemented almost all clauses of roadmap for entry into CU
Armenia implemented almost all the clauses of the roadmap for its entry into the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at the meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting, according to the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry.
Lukashenko said that although turnover of commodities between the two countries is not huge, the development rates are satisfactory and much work has been done to expand and strengthen economic links.
“Given the fact that there was zero trade, we have made great progress,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
Edward Nalbandian said for his part that commodity turnover grew by about 23%, adding that the Armenian side will seek to develop trade and economic relations with Belarusian partners.
