Armen Martirosyan: ARFD’s conduct aided authorities
The implementation of constitutional reforms in Armenia is not a subject of interest to society today, the deputy chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan said at a press conference today.
“One of the principled approaches that Heritage Party presented to the authorities is as follows: guarantees are necessary that the constitutional reforms are real reforms, rather than measures aimed at realizing a new mechanism of power reproduction,” he said, noting that society should see the quality of constitutional reforms during their application.
When commenting on the behavior of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party and its decision not to participate in the upcoming joint rally of the four non-government parliamentary political forces, Armen Martirosyan said that in this way ARFD aided to some extent the Armenian authorities.
“If the authorities reject ARFD’s proposal, then this party will be opposed to the constitutional reforms,” the deputy chairman of Heritage said.
