Prime Minister Abrahamyan receives UNDP Administrator Helen Clark
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received the delegation led by UNDP Administrator Helen Clark, the press office of the government reported.
H. Abrahamyan appreciated highly the activities of the United Nations Office in Armenia and work done by the UN Development Program in the country in the past 22 years.
The head of government underlined the importance of assessing the current UN Development Assistance Framework 2010-2015 document and developing a new framework document.
H. Abrahamyan expressed confidence that thanks to close cooperation of the interested departments of the Armenian government and the UN Office, a comprehensive document will be developed to promote Armenia’s further development.
Helen Clark said that UNDP will continue assisting the Armenian government in improving efficiency of public administration, combating corruption, human rights protection, environmental protection, and implementing Open Government Partnership programs.
